AFE and Johan Cruyff Institute will collaborate to boost the academic education of footballers

Members of the AFE will be able to study all the programs offered by Johan Cruyff Institute with interesting advantages

The AFE (Association of Spanish Footballers) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Johan Cruyff Institute with the aim of promoting and facilitating academic education among its members. Through this agreement, they will be able to access the entire academic offer in Sport Management, Sport Marketing and Sponsorship, Football Business and Coaching, and benefit from interesting discounts.

“At the AFE, we have always considered the education of our members to be fundamental. A player’s career has an expiration date and therefore it seems basic that players get eduation with a view to their future”, explains David Aganzo, president of the AFE. For this reason, he emphasizes that “joining up with a prestigious institution like Johan Cruyff Institute means taking a vital step in our firm commitment to offer players different education paths. In this case, we are talking about an institution that is internationally recognized for the quality and category of its different programs”.

“We, at the AFE, have been fighting for the recognition of the rights and opportunities of footballers for 40 years, and academic education has always been one of our main aims, not only for the students of our Football School, but also so that players can get education during or following their sports career and, in this way, be prepared for the professional transition”, added Aganzo.
