Le Champion has become corporate partners of Johan Cruyff Institute through the signing of an academic collaboration agreement
Le Champion, the organization behind events like the Dam tot Damloop and the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, and Johan Cruyff Institute have signed a collaboration agreement to reinforce each other in academic matters and also to contribute to the practical orientation of education for professionals in the sport.
The agreement brings, among others, special advantages for the staff of the sports association, who can obtain interesting discounts of up to 20% on the study programs in the field of sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching offered by Johan Cruyff Institute, with the aim of stimulating the development of their professional career.
In addition, the agreement offers more benefits for Le Champion and the students and alumni of Johan Cruyff Institute like, for example, participation in special study cases, guest lectures, internships and take part in the organization of joint educational activities.

With more than 60 cycle, running and hike events, Le Champion puts over 250.000 people in motion. Le Champion is one of the largest sport organizations in the Netherlands thanks to the contribution of 3.500 volunteers and almost 20.000 members. Everyone is familiar with some of the events of Le Champion, such as Egmond-Pier-Egmond, the Dam tot Damloop, the Plus Wandel4daagse Alkmaar, the NN Egmond Half Marathon and the TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Inspiring and facilitating as many people as possible to sport – both young and old – is the mission of the sport organization, thereby contributing to vital people and a healthy society.
