KNZB and Johan Cruyff Institute join forces in new partnership

The KNZB and Johan Cruyff Institute have become official corporate partners through the signing of an academic collaboration agreement

The Royal Dutch Swimming Association, the KNZB, and Johan Cruyff Institute have signed a collaboration agreement to reinforce each other in academic matters and also contribute to offer in  practical educational guidance for professionals in the sport.

The agreement brings, among other things, special advantages for the staff and athletes of the swimming association, who will be able to obtain interesting discounts of up to 20% on the study programs in sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching offered by Johan Cruyff Institute, with the aim of stimulating their professional career development.

The swimming association and Johan Cruyff Institute will collaborate in developing and organising special study cases, guest lectures, internships and joint educational activities, among others.

The KNZB, one of the largest sports associations in the Netherlands, has been committed to promoting swimming in the Netherlands for 125 years. The association serves the entire swimming world: water polo, artistic swimming, diving and swimming. Some KNZB athletes who have studied at Johan Cruyff Institute in the past are Inge Dekker, Femke Heemskerk, Sebastiaan Verschuren and Dagmar Genee, to name a few.
