Thanks to the agreement, players, coaches and employees of RKC Waalwijk have better access to the study programs of Johan Cruyff Institute, to support them in their personal development
The Johan Cruyff Institute and professional football club RKC Waalwijk have signed a collaboration
agreement to reinforce each other in academic matters. The agreement brings special advantages for the staff, football players and coaches of the club, who can obtain interesting discounts of up to 20% on the study programs offered by Johan Cruyff Institute in the fields of sport management, sport marketing and sponsorship, football business and coaching, with the aim of stimulating the development of their professional career.
In addition, the agreement offers more benefits for both the football club and the students and alumni of Johan Cruyff Institute such as, for example, being able to participate in special study cases, attend guest lectures, do internships and take part in the organization of joint educational activities.

RKC Waalwijk is a professional football club from Waalwijk, located in the south of the Netherlands. The first team has been back in the Premier Division of the country, the Eredivisie, since the 2019-2020 season after defeating NEC Nijmegen, Excelsior and Go Ahead Eagles in the playoffs. Currently, the team is being coached by former professional football player Fred Grim and is in 14th place in the table.
