Representatives of Johan Cruyff’s academic and football legacies will share a stand at Soccerex Europe 2024, which will be held for the fist time at the Johan Cruyff ArenA in Amsterdam since its last European edition in 2019
After a wait of almost five years, Soccerex returns to Europe in style for its 28th edition, this time at the iconic Johan Crujff ArenA, home stadium of the legendary AFC Ajax and the Dutch national football team. The event, one of the world’s leading football industry congresses, will be held on May 30 and 31 and will feature Johan Cruyff Institute, Johan Cruyff’s academic legacy, and Cruyff Football, his football legacy, sharing a stand in the expo area.
Soccerex Europe will bring together the major players in European and world football in a European city (Amsterdam) for the first time, when the Portuguese host town of Oeiras was followed by a five-year hiatus of congresses in Miami (Florida), interrupted only by two virtual editions as a result of the Covid pandemic.
After a record-breaking event last November in Miami, which attracted over 1,500 delegates from more than 60 countries, Soccerex Europe 2024 will be the focus of attention in Amsterdam, shortly before the start of the European Championship in Germany. More than 70 top-level speakers representing clubs, leagues, federations, associations and governing bodies will take part in a full agenda of content that will include discussions on performance, technology, infrastructure, finance, the organization of major competitions, fan engagement, athlete development, academies, TV rights and data analytics, among other topics.
